I believe that it is, as Einstein said, the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. As a passionate teacher, dedicated to ensuring the very best outcomes for all students I teach, this statement resonates with me as I endeavor to awaken joy in all of the learners within my classroom.  

Throughout my sixteen-year teaching career in Biology & Physics domain I have gained extensive skills in training and management, alongside working directly with children within the early years. Through these roles I have seen the impact that my experience within teaching has had on my ability to assess and report on a range of issues. I have also undertaken regular academic study and professional training to ensure that I can offer feedback, allowing me to provide successful mentoring as well as assessment.

In order to plan effective lessons, I seek to actively promote engaging and effective methods that support my students in reflecting on their learning. I have demonstrated that I am able to set appropriately challenging tasks, drawing on a sound knowledge of the students’ prior attainment, which has been obtained through systematic and accurate assessment. I regularly create opportunities for independent and autonomous learning. As a result the majority of my students make very good progress. I have been able to quickly and accurately discern my learners’ strengths and needs and I have been proactive in differentiating and employing a range of effective intervention strategies to secure progression for individuals and groups. I have an astute understanding of how effective different teaching approaches are in relation to impact on learning and engagement of learners.

After gaining years of experience in educating Grades (7 till 12) Physics and Biology (depending on the subject the institution needed at that time) mostly Biology, where in some cases I had to teach Science for Grades (4 till 5), the knowledge and proficiency promoted my position in being the Coordinator of the Science department in several Institution. This made responsible for the recruitment and training of staff & creation of strong relationships between colleagues and students. In addition every exam, quiz or duty given to the students must pass by my table to approve the work and make sure that everything is moving on track.

I have adhered to consistently high standards of professional conduct, remained passionate about gaining knowledge and experience to ensure that I can successfully fulfil each role. Having worked across a range of educational institutions, I have gained experience of and adapted to the relevant frameworks for each, both in the classroom and in simpler aspects. Having worked in early years education in (Cedars hi  Cultural School, High National College, Beirut International School & Irfan School) I have also shown an ability to adapt swiftly and effectively in international contexts, ensuring I provide the same high standard in each. My passionate and reflective approach to ensuring an excellent education for all children has not only shown in my management and administrative work, however, but has also inspired enthusiasm within the educational environment.
