Dear HR Personnel, 

            Having worked as an administrative assistant for a heavy load NGO, Ayadina Association, for the past 5 years, I was often called “the savior” by the director and vice president of the NGO. They often used to say “Dee saves the day!” because I managed to take care of situations before they became an issue and volunteer to complete a task even when it’s not necessarily my responsibility. I believe excellent interpersonal skills, patience and open mind allowed me to perform such tasks diligently and efficiently.

            As I worked during the day for Ayadina Association, I worked as well as a part time counselor at the International School of Innovation for the past 3 years. Besides the counselling aspect of the job, the psychological aspect and dealing with a very wide range of age groups and backgrounds, administrative and office-work is a big part of a school counselor’s role. This role required heavy load data entry, time organization, meeting schedules, assessment tools and confidential documentation.

            Throughout my work experience I have proven myself to be an excellent listener, a creative problem solver and a source of support. For me, there I no greater reward than seeing my surroundings rising above their challenges and conquering their goals, whether personal or practical.

I earned my Bachelor degree in Psychology in 2017. My undergraduate journey was very insightful and mindful. I got to learn about the human mind, behavior, individuals and communities. The curriculum involved through research and lots of professional writing experiences which further sculpted my writing skills.

Currently I'm pursuing my Masters in Human Resources Management from Rome Business School. This experience so far has been the greatest! Being exposed to people from all over the world, being guided by instructors of various business and entrepreneurship backgrounds and being introduced to a wide range of organizational systems. I'm so amused by Italy and it all the opportunities it could be hiding for me, for that I'm considering relocating.
