Detention Doctor February 2021-January 2023

Mission in South Yemen, to establish healthcare services in Places of Detention (POD).

-  Developed strategies and monitored the implementation of Healthcare in Detention projects aimed at improving 1200+ detainees' access to healthcare in 4 PODs in South Yemen.

-  Monitored and evaluated healthcare in Detention operations while acting as the delegation focal point, coordinating internally and with national health authorities.

-  Supported in COVID-19 prevention and responded to Emergency outbreaks in PODs.

-  Collected and analysed data and delivered detailed reporting to ICRC central team.

International Clinical Consultant April 2019 - December 2020 Cigna Insurance Middle East, Lebanon
Cigna had no medical presence in Lebanon, I started the medical operations and established the relationships with the third-party administrators and the growing network of providers.

-  Established and led the medical operations in Lebanon while coordinating with local and regional third-party administrators, to develop and implement protocols, procedures and strategies to improve quality of care and health outcomes for Cigna's 40,000+ customers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). I have reached high quality results and the regional medical management was happy of my achievements.

-  Provided personal medical management services and evidence-based advice to 300+ patients all over MENA.

-  The company started a Wellness Programme; as member of the wellness committee I promoted a culture of physical and psychological wellbeing for Cigna's employees and clients, by planning and coordinating Health Promotion Activities.

Medical Advisor July 2018 – March 2019 International Medical Corps, Lebanon
Projects funded by the European union regional trust fund in response to the Syrian crisis to respond to the needs of refugees from Syria in neighbouring countries.

-  Designed and implemented improvement plans of the quality of healthcare services at 6 Healthcare Centres in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, within 6 months, a growing number of 14,000+ beneficiaries were getting access to quality medical care.

-  Conducted medical training for 80+ Doctors and Medical staff.
