Rasha El rahi

I am Racha el Rahi a fresh graduate in Architecture and Urban design aiming to achieve professional experience and growth through field experience,project management and design,determination and novelty. I am skilled in the following parameters: project conceptualization, project design ,and drawings.Furthermore, I work well with others and have a sense of leadership. A politecnico di Milano graduate with aspirations to broaden my work spectrum as well as gain more technical experience. I am passionate about building better buildings for people with a true emotional bond with space and further improving urban infrastructure.

I have gained diverse architectural experience through internships and projects in various locations. As an intern at MTA Associati-Giancarlo De Carlo Associati in Milan, Italy, I focused on architecture and urban design. I also worked as a junior architect and construction intern at Velos Enterprises Ltd in Lusaka, Zambia. In addition, I gained valuable experience in architecture design at Ashraf Oun Design Studio in Lebanon and completed a traineeship at Les Ateliers de Tyr, where I focused on construction site visits and creating as-built drawings in Beirut.

I possess native proficiency in Arabic, fluent English, and intermediate proficiency in Italian and French.

In competitions, I represented my third year in The Serail Creativity Hub Design Competition, winning third place. My architectural projects were selected for exhibition at Lebanese University. I have attended conferences and lectures on topics such as philosophy of architecture, urban planning, and architectural history.

Through my academic work, I have been involved in various projects including urban design, preservation, waterfront design, sustainable construction, and architectural design in different locations. I have acquired skills in research analysis, technical drawings, architectural design, site selection, and construction documentation.

I have also volunteered for the Arab Architects Awards, documenting participating projects, and worked with Habitat for Humanity in Zambia, assisting with logistics and building homes in slum areas.

In summary, my career experience includes internships, project involvement, competition success, language proficiency, and volunteering, demonstrating my dedication and growth as an architect.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon, and a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in architectural principles and design concepts. Through my studies at Lebanese University, I gained valuable insights into the local architectural context and developed essential skills in architectural planning, site analysis, and construction documentation. Pursuing my Master's degree at Politecnico di Milano allowed me to expand my knowledge on an international scale, exploring advanced architectural theories and urban design strategies. This comprehensive educational background equips me with a diverse perspective, enabling me to approach architectural projects with creativity, technical expertise, and a global outlook.
