Samer El jurdi

I have accumulated more than eighteen years of professional experience in Design development and Construction Supervision. I started my career as an Interior Designer in the UAE and progressed to become a Projects Developer for various types of projects, including sports facilities, healthcare design, luxury housing, malls, five-star hotels, residential compounds, mixed-use developments, and office towers up to 55 floors. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Beirut Arab University in 1997 and have continually enhanced my knowledge through courses, seminars, and training.

AED, Architecture Engineering Design (July 2022 - Present): Senior Architect / Project Coordinator Leading role in project development and coordination for various projects in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, including private villas, mixed developments, and offices. Collaboration with structural and MEP teams for seamless execution.

Fd Consult, Doha, Qatar (Nov 2020 - Jun 2022): Senior Architect / Project Coordinator / Project Manager Managed and coordinated diverse projects portfolio, from schools and malls to hotels and residential compounds. Responsibilities included project development, coordination, and collaboration with clients and sub-consultants.

United Development Company (UDC), Doha, Qatar (Apr 2011 - Dec 2018): Senior Architect / Project Coordinator Played a key role in The Pearl-Qatar, a prominent mixed-use development. Responsibilities encompassed peer review of designs, oversight of construction progress, and engagement in concept stages.

Architectural Consulting Group (ACG), Abu Dhabi, UAE (May 2007 - Nov 2010): Senior Architect / Project Developer Contributed to projects in various sectors, maintaining design integrity from concept to detail stages. Involved in layout planning, coordination with stakeholders, and preparation of technical reports.

Freelance Architect, Beirut, Lebanon (Mar 2019 - Sep 2020): Conceptualized a private villa project and served as a team leader for a collaborative modern building evaluation project in partnership with the Directorate General of Antiquities (DGA), Arab Center of Architecture (ACA), and UNESCO.

Taillibert Gulf Environment, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Jan 2004 - Apr 2005): Project Architect Supported projects under the guidance of Architect Roger Taillibert, with responsibilities ranging from presentation preparation to coordination with suppliers. Contributed to projects like AL DHAFRA Sports & Cultural Club.

ELEMENTS Interior Design, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Jul 2002 - Dec 2003): Interior Architect Engaged in preliminary designs, generated drawings, and developed rendered models for interior projects. Ensured effective coordination between the office and clients for successful execution.
