The PYP teacher at Wellspring Learning Community will provide effective and proactive PYP teaching and learning through inquiry based lessons that incorporate clear learning objectives through differentiated instruction to students of mixed abilities and cultures. The PYP teacher should be capable of preparing students for international programmes in a stimulating, challenging and well-organized learning environment.Implement PYP policy and strategic plans.
Use a variety of teaching pedagogies to deliver the PYP curriculum
Implement the PYP Written curriculum.
Give feedback on the written curriculum. ( POI and scopes and sequences)
Complete unit planners and weekly plans.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the implementation of the PYP Curriculum.
Liaise with the PYP Principal and PYP Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom.
Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of assessment and reporting systems.
