Job summary
A Chief Accountant oversees the accounting department ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance with regulations and strategic financial management.
Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight Manage all accounting operations payments and receipts including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger P&L and other financial reporting.
- Compliance and Controls Ensure compliance with local regulations in Lebanon KSA UAE France and other jurisdictions when needed follow compliance procedures ensure that internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets In addition perform reconciliations and reviews to ensure the accuracy of the accounts.
