    The incumbents will report to Refugee Registration Business Analyst. The Incumbent will supervise the work of Registration Assistants

    Responsibilities


    In coordination with the Refugee Registration Business Analyst, supervises, guides and advises Registration Assistants on day-to-day activities and ensures compliance with the Consolidated Eligibility and Registration Instructions (CERI); 2.

    Ensures the safety and security of the on-line registration system and other confidential and/or sensitive information; maintains all registration records in safe custody; 3.

    Reviews and approves registration applications concerning registered persons such as transfers, splitting, etc. and recommends other applications that require higher approval authority; 4. Prepares a monthly statistics report for use in planning and forecasting by management; 5. Conducts quality control over registration transactions and issuance of registration cards and scanned documents performed by Registration Assistants; 6.

    Ensures that the Registration Assistants are adequately and sufficiently trained to carry out their work in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures; 7.

    Checks for and alerts his/her supervisor on any errors/negative trends, whether data or system related, in order to initiate corrective action; 8.

    Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

    Type of contract and duration:

    Limited Duration Contract (LDC) Band E for 12 months, with the possibility of further extension, subject to availability of funds, satisfactory performance and continuing needs.

    Only candidates residing in Lebanon, and within commuting distance of the duty station with authorization to work in the duty station at the time of application are eligible to apply.

    A candidate does not have the right to request his or her test to be reassessed or to be given an opportunity to repeat the test.

    For UNRWA internal staff, they are required to specify and include their current UNRWA grade level.

    Equivalency:
    When the minimum requirements are not fully met, Field Director for Field Area staff and Director of Human Resources for Headquarters Area staff, in consultation with the concerned supervisor may exceptionally substitute part of the unmet requirements with a combination of relevant academic qualifications, additional professional training and progressive relevant work experience


    NB:
    Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered an acceptable combination


    Desirable qualification:
    Knowledge of the refugee community and Agency rules, regulations and instructions relating to Relief and Social Services. Previous experience with Registration division or RSSP is considered as advantage.


    Conditions of service:
    Monthly basic salary USD 1, USD 167 Special Allowances.

    Other benefits include compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, pre-rated to he duration of the contract where less than one year and family allowance (if applicable).
