Abbass Darwish

I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese International University . I am a highly motivated , fast learner and skilled mechanical engineer with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for problem-solving. I am great in a variety of engineering software, including SolidWorks, MATLAB, and HAP. I am also a team player with great communication and skills.

 Steel Industry Internship(MOST GROUP): Gained experience in the steel industry by learning about different types of steel beams, pipes, bars, and sheets. Worked on different machines, including shearing, bending, CNC cutting, rolling, drilling, and lathe machines. Developed strong technical skills and a deep understanding of steel materials. Contributed to the production process and helped to ensure the quality of the finished products.

• Association of Energy Engineers Internship: Learned about load estimation according to ASHRAE standards, Carrier, and HAP software. Worked on a project for a villa to implement an HVAC system for it in a team. Developed the load estimation model for the villa using HAP software. Calculated the cooling and heating loads for the villa based on ASHRAE standards. Selected the HVAC system for the villa based on the calculated loads. Collaborated with a team of other intern engineers to complete the project on time

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Lebanese International University: Graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Lebanese International University in 2023. Completed a rigorous curriculum that included courses in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, machine design, and manufacturing. Developed strong technical skills and a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Master of Mechanical Engineering, in progress: Currently enrolled in a Master of Mechanical Engineering program at Lebanese International University. Focused on the energy engineering track, which will provide me with advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
