Abbass NASSER

Abbass NASSER received the M.Sc. in Electronics from the Lebanese University 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in Digital Communication from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO), France in 2016.  From 2012 to 2016, he was an instructor at the Department of Computer Science, American University of Culture and Education (AUCE), Lebanon.

Between 2017 and 2019, he has been post-doc researcher at Ensta-Bretagne, France, where he has become a Research Fellow since 2019. In October 2020, he was a Visiting Professor at Polytech-Nantes, France. In September 2021 he was a Visiting Researcher at LabSTICC – UBO, France. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department of AUCE. 

He is the supervisor and/or the co-director of several defended and in-progress PhD projects. He co-authored more than 50 research papers published in International Journals and Conferences. He serves as guest editor at Sensors journal. His current research interests include Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces, Cognitive Radio, Internet of Things and Wireless Sensor Networks.
