In my current position as an Arabic In-House Translator at Binance, I have developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of language quality assurance. I am responsible for all aspects of Arabic language support, including proofreading, translation, and updating glossaries and style guides. My strong communication skills enable me to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring the highest level of translation quality. 

During my tenure as a Media Analyst and Head Editor/Executive Researcher at CARMA International, I honed my analytical skills and I also effectively managed workflows, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. As an Editorial & Operations Team Leader, I showcased my leadership abilities by allocating tasks, facilitating seamless communication with client services, and overseeing editing and reviewing tasks for key accounts. I played a pivotal role in supporting and guiding selectors, editors, and reviewers, evaluating their performance and recommending relevant trainings to enhance their skills.

My experience as a Media & Publications Assistance Officer/In-House Translator at The Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship further solidified my proficiency in managing revision and editing processes, providing translation services, and creating compelling content for various platforms. Before I took formal jobs in researching the media, my experience was actually first-hand. I completed an internship at the English division of a local newspaper, working on the Syria, Iraq, and Yemen desks. I also worked as a freelancer with another local daily, covering cultural affairs. My involvement with these two newspapers helped me grow a network of local media contacts and cultivate an aptitude for freelance work aside my jobs. Most notably, I have worked with organizations like Save the Children as an interpreter and translator on several occasions. 

I pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature that allowed me to gain a deep appreciation for the power of language. Through coursework and practical projects for the Diploma in Media Studies, I gained hands-on experience in media production, research methodologies, and media analysis. As for my minor in Creative Writing, it nurtured my ability to craft compelling narratives and express ideas effectively. Meanwhile, my minor in Political Science complemented my studies in media and literature by providing me with a solid understanding of political systems, international relations, and socio-political dynamics.
