Mirvat El Masri

I have more than 18 years of experience in teaching Mathematics. I have worked and dealt with academic staff and learners of different nationalities and cultures. Working in multinational schools enhanced my communication skills in addition to my experience in both the American and British curriculums. As part of my professional development, I have completed my Teaching Diploma in the AUST university, Lebanon. The broad information, skills and tools I have attained advanced my knowledge and teaching styles.

I strongly believe that inclusion and diversity enrich the school environment. Throughout my experience, I developed a broad knowledge of the most effective methods and techniques used to optimize the learning experience of the learners. Key modules that I found very beneficial include students’ engagement, instructional studies and inclusive teaching.

My strong initiative and exceptional organizational skills, combined with my ability to work well under pressure, allow me to play a crucial role in a fast - paced teaching environment.

During the academic year 21-22, I was part of the professional development committee at the school and I have been coaching math teachers.
