"The Way we do Anything, is The Way we do Everything", is a quote that drives me and my goals. I pride myself in not just “ doing the bare minimum ” to get the job done, but dedicating my full time and effort to complete any task at a level I myself am proud of.

My name is Omar Shmaitelly, I am dedicated finance graduate, seeking a junior level job position in order to broaden my knowledge in the field of finance, and to gain real-life work experience to strengthen my technical and analytical skills to become a financial analyst in the future.

• External Audit Intern at local Audit firm “Sidani & Co.”:

Three month internship which went as follows:

I was put in a team with other trainees similar to my position and tasked with duties, such as :

•Calculating income and social security taxes for employees according to the Lebanese system.

•  Tracing revenues and expenses from the financial statements back to the original document that supports their numbers.

• Visiting clientele warehouses to conduct inventory audits, to confirm that the financial records and actual count of goods recorded on the financial statements matches.

• Preparing financial statements for many companies using a software called “CaseWare”.

•Supporting in the preparation and editing of the audit reports before they are submitted to the clientele.

• Banking Intern at “Banque BEMO”:

Two-month internship at Bank BEMO, rotating throughout its back office and commercial departments, shadowing over the workers, and learning about their day to day activities . Also, during my time at the the Corporate banking department I was tasked with two projects which consisted of evaluating two separate companies, their financial statements, etc. and decide whether or not the bank should provide them with loans.

BBA with emphasis on Finance from Haigazian University.

Graduated after 4 years with a degree in finance, holding a grade of 85/100. During my time at the University I was placed 3 times on the Deans list and 1 time on the presidents list.
