Riwa Omeiche

I am a 21-year-old English language teacher, a graduate from the Lebanese University- Faculty of Pedagogy, who has been teaching second grade students at AL  Makassed OBK school in Beirut since September 16th. I underwent and still undergo training workshops at the school. I collaborate with parallel teachers and coordinators on a daily basis.

I have acquired many teaching and personal skills and competencies. Regarding the teaching skills, I have had knowledge of a wide range of effective teaching styles, have made sure the classroom is kept appealing to students, have been effective in classroom management, have supported and supervised educational games and hands-on activities, have managed class resources, and have been knowledgeable about programming computer skills. As for the personal skills, I have had a student-focused approach to work, have adopted a creative approach to problem solving, have had the ability to work in a team but also as an individual, have worked comfortably in a changing environment, have been a reflective practitioner, have been keen to listen to advice and ideas, and have had the capacity for hard work.

I have studied teaching English Language in elementary classes as a major at the Lebanese University- Faculty of pedagogy for three years and teaching Arabic Language in elementary  classes as a minor. Which means that I am a licensed teacher in both subjects.
