With over a decade of experience in the humanitarian sector, particularly within partnership development and donor relations, I bring a solid foundation in program management, strategic communication, and resource mobilization. My work on complex humanitarian programs in Lebanon, focused on advancing critical initiatives in protection programming, emergency response, and youth development, has equipped me with a thorough understanding of donor engagement, reporting, and partnership building.

In my current role as a Programme Field Expert with the European Commission’s DG for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), I oversee a portfolio of grants valued at up to €30 million, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and strategic alignment with funding priorities. My experience includes analyzing donor contributions, forecasting funding trends, and developing targeted program proposals, all of which are integral to maximizing resources and strengthening donor relations. I am confident in my ability to support WFP in attracting policy support, resources, and technical assistance to advance the SDGs and Zero Hunger goals.

Additionally, I have a proven track record in conducting thorough desk research, developing donor profiles, and preparing high-quality briefings and presentations for senior management and donor meetings. My expertise in coordinating between various internal teams allows me to facilitate streamlined communication and reporting processes, which align well with WFP’s objective of enhancing data flow and analytical functions for strategic decision-making.

I am drawn to the Partnerships Officer position because of the opportunity to further leverage my skills in partnership management, donor relations, and information management to support WFP’s critical work. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages, which provided me with a strong foundation in multilingual communication, intercultural understanding, and applied knowledge in international business and relations. In addition to my undergraduate studies, I have completed two professional certificates: one in Applied Psychology, which enhanced my understanding of human behavior and communication dynamics, and another in Negotiation, equipping me with practical skills in conflict resolution, dialogue management, and strategic decision-making.
